UFLPA Documentation
Support for
Grip Sock Buyers.
HaloCors can assist US importers, brand buyers, and distributors with supply chain documentation, raw material sourcing records, and production-related paperwork on a case-by-case basis.
Documentation support does not constitute a guarantee of customs clearance or UFLPA compliance. Requirements vary by shipment and are subject to CBP review.
Understanding the Context
What UFLPA Means for
Your Grip Sock Import.
The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) establishes a rebuttable presumption that goods produced in or involving supply chains from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) are made with forced labor and are prohibited from US import. Importers bear the burden of proof to demonstrate otherwise by providing clear and convincing evidence to CBP.
Important: Documentation Support ≠ Compliance Guarantee
HaloCors provides documentation support and supply chain record assistance to help buyers prepare for their own import compliance review. This does not constitute legal advice, a guarantee of customs clearance, or a representation that any shipment will satisfy CBP requirements under UFLPA. Each importer is responsible for their own compliance determination. We recommend consulting a licensed customs broker or trade attorney for specific guidance.
Who Is Affected
US Importers & Buyers
Any US importer sourcing grip socks or textile products from China may face scrutiny. Importers, brand owners, and distributors bringing goods into the US bear the responsibility of demonstrating their supply chain is free of forced labor involvement.
What CBP Reviews
Supply Chain Traceability
CBP may request documentation tracing the product from raw material to finished goods -- including fiber origin, yarn sourcing, fabric production, dyeing, knitting, and export records. The importer must provide clear and convincing evidence.
How We Can Help
Documentation Assistance
HaloCors can work with buyers on a case-by-case basis to prepare supply chain records, raw material sourcing documentation, factory information, and production-related paperwork to support the importer’s own compliance review process.
Documentation Checklist
Documents Your Customs Broker
May Ask For.
The following are common document categories that US importers and their customs brokers may need when responding to a UFLPA inquiry. HaloCors can assist in preparing factory-side records where available.
Factory Records
Factory Profile & Business License
Basic factory registration, business license, and company profile confirming the manufacturing entity, location, and legal registration in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province.
Raw Material Sourcing
Yarn & Fiber Supplier Records
Documentation indicating the origin and supplier of yarn and fiber used in production. Availability depends on supplier cooperation and is reviewed case by case.
Production Records
Production & Manufacturing Records
Internal production records, work orders, batch records, and process documentation showing the manufacturing steps for the specific order.
Export Documents
Commercial Invoice & Packing List
Standard export documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and export customs declaration for the specific shipment.
Quality & Testing
Quality Control & Test Reports
QC inspection reports, wash durability test records, and third-party test reports where available. Specific testing scope depends on product and order requirements.
Supply Chain
Supply Chain Map & Sourcing Summary
A summary document outlining the supply chain tiers -- from raw material suppliers through knitting, finishing, and export -- to help importers understand the production flow.
Note on Document Availability
The availability of specific documents depends on the order, product type, and supplier cooperation. Not all document types listed above may be available for every order. HaloCors will review each buyer’s documentation request individually and communicate what records can be provided. We recommend engaging your customs broker early in the process to identify exactly what CBP may require for your specific shipment.
How It Works
Our Supply Chain Record
Preparation Process.
When a buyer contacts us with a documentation request, we follow a structured internal process to gather, review, and prepare available supply chain records. The scope of what we can provide is determined case by case based on the specific order and product.
Our Factory Is Located in Zhuji, Zhejiang
Zhuji is in Zhejiang Province -- not in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR). Our factory operations, primary yarn sourcing, and production are based in Zhejiang. We can provide documentation confirming factory location and registration.
Buyer Responsibility Reminder
Under UFLPA, the importer of record bears the burden of proof. HaloCors acts as a cooperative supplier providing available documentation. The importer and their legal/customs counsel are responsible for making compliance determinations and submitting evidence to CBP.
Step-by-Step Process
Buyer Submits Documentation Request
The buyer or their customs broker contacts HaloCors with a specific documentation request, identifying the order, product, and what types of records are needed.
Internal Review & Feasibility Check
We review the request internally to determine which documents are available, what supplier cooperation is required, and what can realistically be provided for the specific order.
Raw Material Supplier Coordination
Where yarn or fiber origin documentation is required, we coordinate with our raw material suppliers to obtain available sourcing records. This step is subject to supplier availability.
Document Compilation & Review
We compile available factory records, production documents, export paperwork, and supplier records into an organized documentation package for the buyer’s review.
Delivery to Buyer / Customs Broker
Completed documentation is delivered to the buyer or directly to their customs broker. We remain available to answer follow-up questions about the records provided.
For US Buyers
Why US Buyers Work
with HaloCors.
We understand that US buyers need more than a product -- they need a supplier who communicates clearly, provides documentation support, and operates with transparency.
Verified Factory Location
Our factory is registered and operating in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province. We can provide business registration documents, factory address verification, and production facility information.
Transparent Supply Chain
We maintain records of our primary raw material suppliers and can work with buyers to prepare supply chain summaries. We do not use suppliers from the XUAR for our standard production.
Dedicated Point of Contact
US buyers work directly with Sam, our export manager. One point of contact for documentation requests, sample inquiries, production updates, and compliance-related questions.
English Communication
All documentation, correspondence, and records are provided in English. We understand the communication standards US buyers and their customs brokers require.
Proactive Documentation Approach
We encourage buyers to raise documentation requirements before production begins. Early alignment on what records are needed allows us to prepare more thoroughly throughout the production process.
Honest About Limitations
We will not overstate what we can provide. If a specific document is unavailable or requires third-party supplier cooperation we cannot guarantee, we will communicate that clearly and promptly.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions.
Questions US buyers commonly ask about UFLPA, supply chain documentation, and how HaloCors can assist.
Does HaloCors guarantee that its products will pass UFLPA customs review?
No. HaloCors does not guarantee customs clearance or UFLPA compliance for any shipment. We provide documentation support to help importers prepare their own compliance submissions. The determination of whether a shipment satisfies CBP requirements is made by CBP, not by the supplier. Each importer is responsible for their own compliance and should work with a licensed customs broker and, where appropriate, a trade attorney.
Is HaloCors’s factory located in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR)?
No. HaloCors’s factory is located in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province, China -- not in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. We can provide factory registration documents and location verification. However, buyers should note that UFLPA can also apply to goods that use inputs sourced from XUAR, even if the final production occurs elsewhere. We address raw material sourcing on a case-by-case basis.
What documents can HaloCors actually provide?
We can typically provide factory business license and registration documents, commercial invoices, packing lists, export customs declarations, and production records specific to an order. For raw material sourcing documentation -- such as yarn origin records -- availability depends on supplier cooperation and is reviewed case by case. We will communicate clearly about what is and is not available for your specific order.
When should I raise documentation requirements with HaloCors?
As early as possible -- ideally before or during the sample stage, and certainly before bulk production begins. Raising documentation requirements early allows us to align on what records need to be prepared, coordinate with suppliers where necessary, and ensure documentation is compiled alongside production rather than after the fact.
Can HaloCors provide a full supply chain map tracing all inputs to their origin?
We can provide a supply chain summary covering the primary tiers of production -- including our factory, primary yarn suppliers, and key production steps. Full traceability to raw fiber origin across all tiers is more complex and depends on supplier cooperation. We will discuss what is feasible for your specific order and be transparent about the depth of documentation we can provide.
Do I need a customs broker or trade attorney for UFLPA-related matters?
Yes, we strongly recommend engaging a licensed US customs broker and, for complex situations, a trade attorney with experience in UFLPA matters. HaloCors can provide factory-side documentation support, but legal and customs compliance decisions must be made by qualified professionals on the importer’s side. We can cooperate with your broker directly if that is helpful.
What if CBP detains my shipment under UFLPA?
If your shipment is detained, you will typically have the opportunity to submit evidence to CBP to rebut the forced labor presumption. In that situation, contact your customs broker and trade attorney immediately. HaloCors can assist by providing available documentation on an expedited basis, but we cannot guarantee that any documentation package will result in release of a detained shipment. Each case is reviewed by CBP on its own merits.
How do I request documentation support from HaloCors?
Contact us directly via email at sam@halocors.com with your order details and a description of the documentation you need. If you are working with a customs broker, you are welcome to copy them on the inquiry. We will review your request and respond with what we can provide and any questions we have about scope or timing.
